Accessibility statement
An organization that intends to care for people at their most vulnerable cannot publish a website that some of them cannot use. We treat accessibility as part of the work, not as a compliance afterthought.
The standard we hold ourselves to
This website is built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We also follow the spirit of Section 508 and the Americans with Disabilities Act as they apply to public-facing digital content.
What that means in practice
- Every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, in a logical order.
- Focus is always visible, using a high-contrast gold ring that is never suppressed.
- A skip-to-content link is the first thing a keyboard or screen reader user encounters.
- The page uses semantic landmarks and a single, logical heading order.
- Every image carries descriptive alternative text, and concept renderings are labelled as such in visible text.
- Form fields have real, visible labels. Errors are announced to screen readers and say what to fix rather than simply reporting that something is wrong.
- No information is conveyed by colour alone.
- Animation is suppressed entirely when your device requests reduced motion.
- The page remains usable at 200% zoom and down to a 320-pixel-wide screen.
Colour contrast
The palette was measured rather than assumed. Every text pairing used on this site meets or exceeds the Level AA threshold:

Gold is deliberately never used for text on a light background; that pairing measures 2.1:1 and fails. Where an accent is needed on a light field, the magnolia-seed red is used instead.
How we test
Before release, the site is checked with automated tooling (axe DevTools and Lighthouse), a full keyboard-only pass, and a screen reader pass using VoiceOver and NVDA. Testing is repeated whenever the page changes materially.
Known limitations
We would rather name these than let you discover them:
- The partnership inquiry form requires JavaScript to submit. If scripting is disabled, every other part of the page still works, and the email address and phone number remain available as a direct route to us.
- The architectural concept renderings are described in alternative text, but a rendering is a dense image and no description fully substitutes for it. If you would like any rendering described in more detail, ask us and we will describe it to you.
